Born screaming, so much so that his mother nearly smothered him to prevent Perdición’s wrath as he slept, it was a miracle for the smallest of the three sons to survive in all manner of ways. Possibly the most affected by the Blud that had practically sterilised his sire, Balumba was thick-headed but not as tough as his siblings – in fact he was practically delicate with a soft underbelly and a sensitive nature when his miniature tail was mocked. But what Balumba did not hold in strength he made up for in brain power and it was perhaps his increased intelligence that made Perdición so aware of the boy’s potential danger.
Undergoing countless beatings from mother, brothers and father alike, Balumba found he had an explosive temper and that his father provoked it on purpose. He did the same to the rather quiet Estrujar, encouraging him to scream so that his sons might overcome their weaknesses through the wild temper they have inherited. But regarding Balumba, it back-fired as the male knew how to provoke his brothers and father better then they could him and one of his greatest successes was applying this temper to outside attackers. He even wound his brothers enough to hate their father and that was what was important to him!
Balumba wanted his father’s power, wanted the fear held for him and used to control the other members of the group. But his father was not an animal that could be faced easily and Balumba knew his brothers would be the better meat-shields in the situation and that he could easily get them to turn on one another anyway. But taking out his father was nothing unless he could prove himself a ruthless and tough leader upon the others. He aimed his aggression firstly to youngsters, to the elderly, to the weak and then onto females. But here Balumba met a snag, an unfortunate defect caused by the strange chemical pumping in his blood – Balumba was quite impotent.
Although he mounted the females and even went through the motions, nothing happened below no matter how good-looking, small, big or easy any of the females were. In fact his inability to even encourage himself out for a clean makes him a laughing stock. The females call him names and bully him, they even chase him around and mount him, going through the motions and then apologising like he does – they make him out to be a female and the word gets around to the males and Balumba has to cope with even worse humiliations, even from his brother Eco.
But it is when Perdición finds out this issue that the real trouble begins as he calls Balumba to him and insists he mate a female properly or he’ll be exiled. Balumba tries hard… he can’t do anything about it and then he goes mad when the female laughs. He attacks her instead, ripping out her throat and killing her… when he is huffing and puffing from the insane attack, he realises his father was just playing on the boy’s temper, making him stronger then the insults thrown at him. But Balumba cannot cope with this any longer and he gathers his brothers and encourages them to join him and rise up against their father – it fails with Eco being slaughtered and Estrujar badly scarred. Balumba himself gains a few scars but his father is amused by his mind and sends him away to find a new home to rule and cause chaos to.
They were sent away n an old transport ship left by the humans that had captured Perdición’s ancestors and ended up on Dabrac. Here the males took over a massive warring clan of Aeil dragons and Balumba took control. He killed the leaders and took over a bunch of famous females whom he subjected to the cruellest tortures he could think of as revenge to all females that had ever laughed at him. He never sired any children, never experienced sex either – instead he just hurt anyone that questioned him and is methods. When his brother did sire a healthy son, Balumba was jealous and slaughtered Estrujar, blaming it upon the females and planning to do the same to young Kaspar as soon as he sired a son worthy enough to follow Balumba’s ways.
However this would never occur as Balumba made a mistake in targeting a female whom he’d even named Agana for the blood he had hoped to spill. In the end Agana slit his throat!
